Anonymous; I'm getting interested in all the process of making furniture, can you recommend me stuff to read/check out, also i knew the Queen Zaha (RIP) used to make furniture, Mies did some too so that makes me think/belive that me being an architect and getting interest in it is not wrong or weird but what do you think?
Its not wrong or weird! You are a designer, many architects have designed furniture. I recommend you read and learn more about it (check out this list of books on furniture);
materials, techniques and the proportions of the human body are even more critical in furniture design. You should also take classes on industrial design, and if this is something that really interests you a minor on industrial design should be considered.
